George Washington



George Washington (February 22, 1732 to December 14, 1799) was the first President of the United States - serving from 1789 to 1787. He is often times referred to as the father of his country.

He was first appointed in 1775 as Commander In Chief of the American revolutionaries by the Continental Congress.

He died of a throat infection on December 14th, 1799.
